Penn National Gaming’s Hollywood Casino St. Louis in Maryland Heights, formerly Harrah’s, saw its revenue fall 9.9 %, to $20.7 million compared with February 2012, the St. Louis Company Journal reports.
In January, Hollywood Casino saw revenue drop year-over-year by 6 percent, to $19.4 million compared with January 2012.
But Hollywood just isn’t alone. In fact, each St. Louis-area casino is inside a equivalent circumstance.
All six gambling halls turned in declines compared with February 2012, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

In Could 2012, Harrah’s was sold to Penn National Gaming, Inc. for $610 million.
That deal closed in November 2012 along with the Maryland Heights casino into Hollywood Casino.
Penn National owns other casino places that consist of the Argosy Alton casino, Hollywood Casinos in Joliet, IL; Baton Rouge, LA; and the M Resort Spa Casino in Las Vegas.
Penn National has stated it plans on pumping $61 million in to the rebranding over the next six to nine months, which will incorporate new slot machines and themes, and also a new Boogie Nights nightclub within the previous Voodoo Lounge space.
