Legalized Online Casinos Could Bring $300 Million to Pennsylvania

Consultants are telling Pennsylvania’s Legislature that permitting the state’s citizens to gamble online would result in another $300 million annually in revenue.

A legislative committee launched the report by Econsult Solutions of Philadelphia Wednesday.

Senators commissioned the report in December to evaluate Pennsylvania’s existing gambling landscape of 12 casinos and evaluate the possibility impact of gambling online in the casinos.

Using the condition facing a dire budget picture, the report is anticipated to spark serious discussion about legalizing and taxing gambling online.

Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi states he has not taken a situation on whether or not to legalize gambling online, but he states people from the Legislature are curious about it also it warrants serious consideration.

Nj, Delaware and Nevada allow gambling online.
