Gambling Tycoon Wynn Investigates Everett Casino Site

Casino mogul Steve Wynn, searching for to compete with rival Caesar’s Suffolk Downs proposal, has approached Everett about a Mystic River web page that Challenging Rock developers may also be eyeing.

A Wynn representative has toured the former Monsanto web site off Route 99 within the final two weeks, the Everett mayor’s workplace confirmed.

The new heightened interest in Everett raises the prospect of a bidding war not just for that website, but for your eastern Massachusetts gaming license that was previously considered a virtual performed deal for Caesars Entertainment at Suffolk Downs.

Wynn had bailed out of a partnership with Bob Kraft in Foxboro for your Southeastern area license soon after the town rejected the idea of a casino there.
